August 10 hands

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 4 Players - (http://www.legopoker.com http://www.legopoker.com/hh)

SB: $219.69
Hero (BB): $100.00
UTG: $212.74
BTN: $107.35

Preflop: Hero is dealt Kh Ks (4 Players)
UTG calls $1.00, BTN raises to $5.00, SB calls $4.50, Hero raises to $22.00, UTG calls $21.00, BTN calls $17.00, SB folds

UTG was a total fish playing something like 90% of his hands. The button isolates, SB calls, and I pop it up fairly large with KK. UTG and the button call.

Flop: ($71) 3c 6d Tc (3 Players)
Hero bets all-in for $78.00, UTG calls $78.00, BTN folds

Great flop for me and I'm never getting away from this. The pot is $71 and I have $78 left so I just shove. Hopefully it looks like AK to the button and he might call with QQ or JJ. UTG calls with a terrible hand and the button folds.

Turn: ($227) 4h (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($227) 5h (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $227.00 ($2 Rake)

UTG had Qs Td (a pair of Tens) and LOST (-$100.00)
Hero had Kh Ks (a pair of Kings) and WON (+$125.00)

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 4 Players - (http://www.legopoker.com http://www.legopoker.com/hh)

SB: $180.00
BB: $127.80
UTG: $538.20
Hero (BTN): $236.40

Preflop: Hero is dealt Jc Tc (4 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $7.00, SB calls $6.00, BB folds

I have no information on the SB as he just sat down.

Flop: ($16) 2c 4c Th (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12.00, SB calls $12.00

A good looking flop for me and I make my standard C-bet.

Turn: ($40) 4d (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $25.00, SB calls $25.00

I decided to keep betting this turn, although I now think it was a mistake. He can only really call the flop with a better T or a flush draw. I don't mind giving a free card to a flush as it might be worse than mine and I hold some of his outs if it's better. I think checking this turn is much the better play.

River: ($90) 6h (2 Players)
SB bets all-in for $136.00, Hero calls $136.00

And now betting the turn has got me into trouble. This seemed so much like a bluff and I decided to call. He flopped a set and slowplayed it pretty well. I really don't like my call here against an unknown. I've definitely made a few calls like this before and been correct mainly, but that's been after I've played with the opponent for a while. Against an unknown I should have folded this. A pretty embarrassing hand (and it happened while Noel was sweating me to make it worse!). Notice that if I check the turn he can only really bet $40 ish, and I'd be able to call this and save myself around $120.

Pot Size: $362.00 ($2 Rake)

SB had 2h 2d (a full house, Twos full of Fours) and WON (+$180.00)
Hero had Jc Tc (two pair, Tens and Fours) and LOST (-$180.00)

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (http://www.legopoker.com http://www.legopoker.com/hh)

SB: $62.00
BB: $187.00
UTG: $426.25
Hero (MP): $224.10
CO: $278.85
BTN: $281.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt Qh Qc (6 Players)
UTG calls $2.00, Hero raises to $9.00, CO calls $9.00, BTN calls $9.00, SB calls $8.00, 2 folds

I'd been pretty active on this table and my pre-flop raises were usually getting at least one caller. Here i get 3 callers with QQ.

Flop: ($40) 8d 4s Jd (4 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $30.00, CO raises to $112.00, BTN folds, SB calls all-in for $53.00, Hero raises all-in to $215.10, CO calls $103.10

I decide to bet out strongly as I don't want to give anyone an excuse to play back at me. The CO raises me and SB calls all-in. I'm not concerned about the SB. The CO was playing around 36/30 although his aggression factor was low (but not over very many hands). This is a spot where I'll often fold, but I really felt like I had this guy so I shoved. His pre-flop stats suggested he was here to play some poker. If this hand hadn't been on Full Tilt, I may have folded because I used most of my time bank up to make the decision. I find that your instincts will often tell you what the correct decision is though, and it's very hard to explain why I sometimes call here and sometimes fold.

Turn: ($523.20) Qs (3 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($523.20) 2s (3 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $523.20 ($3 Rake)

SB had Kd Td (King Queen high) and LOST (-$62.00)
CO had 5d 4d (a pair of Fours) and LOST (-$224.10)
Hero had Qh Qc (three of a kind, Queens) and WON (+$296.10)
